ITG Trunk 2.0 ISDN Signaling Link (ISL) Description, Installation and Operation
Use the MAT ITG menu Configuration | Synchronize | Retrieve co mman d
to retrieve the ITG configuration information from the ITG node.
1Launch MAT and double-click the ITG ISDN IP Trunks icon from the
Services folder. The IP Telephony Gateway - ISDN I P Trunk window
opens.
2Select Leader 0 or any card from the node.
3Select menu Configuration | Synchronize | Retrieve. The ITG -
Retrieve Options window appears.
4Check the boxes for the ITG configuration data that you need to
retrieve:
Note 1:
Select Node Properties, Card Properties, and Dialing Plan
if the MAT ITG data is out of date and you intend to synchronize all
MAT ITG node data with the data from the ITG cards on the node.
Note 2:
Select Ca rd P ro p e rt ies to add a node on MAT by retrieving
from an existing node that contains more than one card.
Note 3:
Select any combination of check boxes as indicated by
problem symptoms when you are attempting to isola te a pro blem on a
particular card. Use the “dummy” node for this purpose.
5Select Prompt user for community name if required.
6Click the Start retrieve button.
Monitor the status of the retrieval in the Retrieve control box . T he retrieved
Node Properties, Card Properties, and Dialing Plan will over-write the
existing MAT ITG configuration data for the respective node or card.
When you retrieve a dialing plan table, MAT ITG compares it against the
existing node dialing plan and discards it if it is identi cal. If it is differe nt, you
are asked to confirm before it over-writes the existing node dialing plan on
MAT ITG.
The “Retrieving the ITG configuration information from the ITG node”
procedure is complete.
