File transfer commands (Part1 of 3)
Command Description
swDownload hostname,
username, password,
directory path, filename
Update the software on the ITG card with the binary file
received from an FTP server corresponding to the
hostname
IP
address. The ITG card FTP client performs a get which
downloads the file to the ITG flash bank. A checksum is
calculated to check correct delivery. Once the new software
version is successfully downloaded, the ITG card must be
rebooted with cardReset in order to run the new software.
Hostname
refers to either the IP address of the FTP host , or th e
ITG card itself or another ITG card when a PC card in the A:
drive of the ITG card contains the software binary file.
Example:
ITG> swDownload “47.82.32.246”, “anonymous”, “guest”,
“/software”, “vxWo rks.mms”
DPTableGet hostname,
username, password,
directory path, filename
Update the address table on the ITG car d with the ad dre ss tab l e
file on the indicated host, account, and path. The ITG host
starts an FTP session with the given parameters and
downloads the file to the flash file system.
Example:
ITG> DPTableGet “ngals042”, “anonymous”, “guest”,
“/dialPlan”, “dialingPlan.txt”
configFileGet hostname,
username, password,
directory path, filename
Update the config.ini file on the ITG card with the config.in i file
on the indicated host, account, and path. The configFileGet tas k
on the ITG host starts an FTP session with the given
parameters and downloads the file to the flash file system.
Example:
ITG> ConfigFileGet “ngals042”, “anonymous”, “guest”,
“/configDir”, “config.ini”
bootPFileGet hostname,
username, password,
directory path, filename
Update the bootptab file on the ITG card with the bootptab file
on the indicated host, account, and path. The boot pFil eGet t ask
on the ITG host starts an FTP session with the given
parameters and downloads the file to the flash file system.
Example:
ITG> bootpFileGet “ngals042”, “anonymous”, “guest”,
“/bootpDir”, “bootptab”
