Redistributing Toner

When the toner cartridge is near the end of its life, white streaks or light print occurs. The LCD displays the

warning message, "Toner Low". Gently shake the toner cartridge from side-to-side to distribute the toner

evenly and temporarily improve print quality.

Open the front cover.1.

Pull the toner cartridge out and gently shake the cartridge to distribute the toner evenly inside the

cartridge.

NOTE: If toner comes into contact with your clothing, wipe the toner off with a dry cloth and

wash your clothing in cold water. Hot water sets toner into fabric.

CAUTION: Do not touch the green underside of the toner cartridge. Use the handle on

the cartridge to avoid touching this area.

Reinstall the cartridge and close the front cover.3.
