[no] ip unnumbered [null 0]

Minimum Access Level: Administrator

Command Mode: config-subif

Enables or disables IP processing on a serial sub-interface without assigning an explicit address. The no ip unnumbered command removes any IP address assigned to the interface and disables IP processing on the interface. The default is that IP processing is disabled.

Example: ip unnumbered

When an interface IP address and subnet mask are deleted via the no ip unnumbered command, any routing entries with a Next Hop Router address that fall within the interface’s address range are deleted automatically.

[no] frame-relay interface-dlci dlci-num

Minimum Access Level: Administrator

Command Mode: config-subif

Specifies or removes a DLCI on a sub-interface configured for frame relay encapsulation. Only one DLCI may be configured per sub-interface.

Example: frame-relay interface-dlci 103

dlci-num– Any valid DLCI number that is not already in use on the interface. Range for DLCI numbers is 16–1007. The default is None.
