Fax Header Print

By default, the machine adds your Fax Header to each message you send so it appears on the printed fax at the other end. See Chapter 3 “Own N ame/Fax H eader/Own Fax Number” in the Basic Features manu- al.

Important

❒In the USA, this must contain the telephone number of the line your machine is connected to. It will be printed on the header of every page you send. Required in the USA.

A Make sure that the machine is in Facsimile mode and the standby display is shown.

B Set your original and select any scan settings you require.

CPress the {Transmission Option} key.

D Press 0 or 1 until "5. FaxHeader Print" is displayed and press the 1 {OK} key.

E Press 0 or 1 to select "On" or "Off".

FPress the {OK} key.

GPress the {Transmission Option}key.

H Specify the destination.

If you want to specify another des- tination, press the {OK} key and re- peat step H.

I Press the {Start} key.

The Transmission Option menu appears.
