3Remove all tape between the rollers and knives (see Fi gure 162).

4Insert a new trailing strip of tape between the rollers and the knives. For
complete information refer to ‘Change the tape roll in the reinforcement unit’
on page 196.
No reinforcement strips on the output without an error message
This error occurs when there are no reinforcement strips on the output although
reinforcement is selected. This can happ en when the file header (Remote
Control Format or Océ Job Ticket) contains instruct ions to have no
reinforcement.
Note:If you want to process A4 formats, reinforceme nt can be disabled for this
format.

1Press the Stop key on the operator panel twice.
2Open the side door of the Reinforcement unit.
