Make a scan-to-file
Do the following to scan an original to file.

1Place your original
2Select the appropriate original type.
3Select the ‘Destination’ card in the ‘File’ section.

4Select ‘File mode’ On.
The status message displays: Ready to scan to file.
5Select a Destination (see ‘Destinations’ on page 82).
6Set the correct settings. (see Chapter , ‘Settings for
7Press the start key.
The original is scanned.
