Configurable Parameters Via the Registry Editor
The following parameters receive default value sdu ring the installation of
the Intermec FTPServer components. A few of the parameters are visible
in the registry by default, but most must be created in order to modi fy the
default behavior of the FTP server.

BlockSize

Setting this parameter configures the Interme c FTP Server to transmit and
receive Ethernet packetsu singthe specified data block size. By default, the
FTP server transmitsand receives data using a 64K data block size. Adjust-
ing this value may be useful in certain wireless TCP/IP installations.
Key HKLM\Software\Intermec\IFTP
Value Type REG_DWORD- data block size, in bytes.
Valid Range 0x100-0x10000 (256-65536decimal).
Default 65536

DeviceName

This parameterconfigures the Intermec FTP Server to include thespeci-
fied device name in the Intermec Device Network Announcement
(IDNA). Adjusting this value may be useful in assigning a symbolicname
to this device for asset tracking.

Valid Range None.
Default None.

DeviceURL

This parameterconfigures the Intermec FTP Server to transmit the speci-
fied URL in the IDNA. This can be used by Intermec managementsoft-
ware for asset management.
