Basic
Use the Basic page to set the network type, name, and manage battery
power for this profile. Tap ok or OK to return to the Profi les page.
SProfile Label:
Enterauniquenameforyourprofile.
SNetwork type:
Tap the drop-down list to select either “Infrastr ucture” if your network
uses access points toprovide connectivity to the corporate network or
internet;or “Ad-Hoc” to set up a private network withone or more par-
ticipants.
SChannel:
If you selected “Ad-Hoc”for the network type, select the channel on
which you are communicating with others in your network. Th ere are
up to 11 channels available.
SSSID (Network Name):
This assumes the profile nameunless an other name is entered in this field.
If you want to connect to the next available network or are not familiar
with the network name, enter “ANY” in this field. Consult your LAN
administrator for network names.
SEnable Power Management:
Check this box to conserve battery power (default), or clear th is box to
disable this feature.
