Creating a Contact1Tap New, then use the input panel to enter a name and other contact
information. Scroll down to see all available fields.
2To assign the contact to a category, scroll to and tap Categories and se-
lect a category from the list. In the contact list, you can di splay contacts
by category.
3To add notes, tap the Notes tab. You can enter text, draw, or create a
recording. For more information on creating notes, see “Notes: Captur-
ing Thoughts and Ideas”onpage75.
4When finished, tap OK to return to the contact list.
Tapto return to the contactlist (the
contactis saved automatically).

Notesis a good place for
mapsand directions.
SynchronizingContactsContacts stored on your device can be synchronized with Outlook contacts
stored on your desktopor with Mobile Information Server 2002 or later.
New items entered in one location are copied to the other during synchro-
nization.Handwritten notes and drawings are saved as pictureswhen syn-
chronizingwith your desktop, but are removed when synchronizing with a
server.
