Vibrator
Note: This information doesnot apply to th e 730 Computer.
Ifyour700ColorComputerisbuiltwithanimagerorscannerandthe
vibrator is disabled, dothe following instructions to enable the vibrator. If
you are not able to enable the vibrator, then contactCu stomerSupport.
For information about setting volume levels for s creen taps, ActiveSync
alert noises, etc., tap Start

vibrator. See Appendix A, “Configurable Settings,” for more information
about the Beeper Volume option.
Note: Each time the 700 Color Computer is cold-booted, all default set-
tings are restored.
ForUnits With PSM Builds Older than 3.00
1Tap Start >Settings >theSystem tab > Data Collection to access its
control panelapplet.
2Use the rightand left arrows to scroll to the Beeper/LED tab, then tap
this tab.
3Tap Beeper, select the “Vibrate”option, then tap Apply.
4Tap ok to confirm this change, then tap ok to exit the Data C ollection
control panelapplet.
