Symbologies
You can change bar code symbologyparameter settings in your 700 Color
Computer via the Data Collection controlpanel applet. The following
parameters are for bar code symbologies. Additional information abou tth e
more common bar code symbologies are in Appendix B, “Bar Codes.” Note
that these parameters are listed in the order of their appearance within this tab.
Most of these symbologiesapply to both the imager and the laser scanner
tools.However, when using an imager, the Macro PDF (page314),Micro
PDF417 (page 316),Matrix2of5(page 318), Telepen(page 319),and
Code 11 (page 320) symbologiesare not supported. Likewise, when using
a laser scanner, the QR Code (page 321), Data Matrix (page 322),and
MaxiCode (page323) symbologies are not supported.
Note: The 730 Computeruses the EV10 APS linear imager which sup-
ports 1D symbologies.
