v To prevent diskette drive read/write errors, make sure that the distance between monitors and diskette drives is at least 76 mm (3 in.).
If the problem remains, replace the internal diskette drive.
v If there is a diskette in the drive, make sure that:
– The diskette drive cables are correctly and securely connected.
– The diskette drive is enabled in the Configuration/Setup Utility program.
– The diskette is good and not damaged. (Try another diskette if you have one.)
– The diskette is inserted correctly in the drive.
– The diskette contains the necessary files to start the server.
– Your software program is working properly.
The CD or DVD drive tray is not 1. Make sure that the server is turned on. working.
2. Insert the end of a straightened paper clip into the manual tray-release opening.
3. Reseat the CD or DVD drive cable.
4. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time:
a. CD or DVD drive cable b. CD or DVD drive
