Note: Remove the dust shield 1 (if one is present) from the Hot-swap SAS/SATA 1 signal connector 2on the system board before installing the signal cable. Carefully grasp the dust shield and pull it out of the signal connector.

b.Connect the RAID level-5 enabler plug (that came with the system) to the SAS/SATA backplane 1 connector on the system board.
