Review banner printing checklist
•Use only the number of sheets needed for the banner.
•Select the following settings to enable the printer to feed paper continuously without jamming:
1With a document open, click File ª Print.
2Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.
3Click the Advanced tab.
4From the Layout
5From the Banner Paper Size
6Click the Print Setup tab.
7From the Orientation area, select Portrait or Landscape.
8Click OK or Print.

Memory card cannot be inserted
Check memory card type
Check memory card placement
Make sure that the type of memory card you are using can be used in the printer. For more information, see “Inserting a memory card” on page 98.
See “Inserting a memory card” on page 98 to determine which slot accommodates your memory card and to see instructions on how to insert it.
Nothing happens when memory card is inserted
Reinsert memory card
Check memory card placement
Check memory card type
Memory card may be damaged
Memory card may not contain photos
USB cable may not be connected
The memory card may have been inserted too slowly. Remove and then reinsert the memory card quickly.
See “Inserting a memory card” on page 98 to determine which slot accommodates your memory card and to see instructions on how to insert it.
Make sure that the type of memory card you are using can be used in the printer. See “Inserting a memory card” on page 98.
Check that there is no obvious damage to the memory card.
Insert another memory card with photos.
The printer will read photos created using the JPEG format. For more information, see the documentation that came with the digital camera.
1Check the USB cable for any obvious damage.
2Firmly plug the square end of the USB cable into the back of the printer.
3Firmly plug the rectangular end of the USB cable into the USB port of the computer.
The USB port is marked with the USB symbol .
