The LCD now indicates the machine’s current default reception mode, which is Fax Ready.

If the setting you see is acceptable, skip to step 18.

Otherwise, proceed to step 17.

17. To change the setting either to “Fax Ready” or “Tel Ready,” press PROGRAM once or twice until your choice appears. Here, we’ve stayed with “Fax Ready” mode:
