Set mode to ROUTE IP. Using this menu you also have the option to route only

IP packets and bridge all other data packets (ROUTE IP/BRIDGE OTHER) or

9bridge all data packets on this connection (BRIDGE ALL). Refer to L2 Protocol (ATM–NET–ATM) > Config > PVC Config > Setup (Router) on page 103 for more details.

Step Action

1From the main menu, select BRIDGE and press <ENTER>.

2Use the right arrow key to highlight CONFIG and press <ENTER>.

3Select INTERFACES and press <ENTER>. Verify that the desired interface is listed in this table.

4Left arrow back to the BRIDGE > CONFIG menu.

5Select BRIDGE TABLE and set the BRIDGE TABLE AGING to the desired time (in minutes) it takes an entry to age out of the Bridge table.

6Left arrow back to the main menu to save the changes.
