To remove the flexible disk drive

Chapter 6: Replacing Assemblies

1680A,AD-series disassembly/assembly

4Using a Torx T-6 screwdriver, remove three screws that secure the CD- ROM drive to the bottom bracket. Lift the CD-ROM drive out of the bottom bracket.

5Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the CD-ROM drive. Ensure the motherboard is properly installed before installing the CD- ROM drive.

To remove the flexible disk drive

1Do the procedure "To remove the chassis from the sleeve".

2Unplug the flexible disk drive cable from the rear of the flexible disk drive.
