Chapter 6: Replacing Assemblies

1680A,AD-series disassembly/assembly

3If the I/O panel requires replacement, then EMI gasket (01680-87102) must be installed into the replacement I/O panel. The gasket is installed as follows:

a Two 80 mm sections are installed, one on each side of the top center screw hole.

b One 160 mm section is installed centered along the bottom edge of the I/O panel directly beneath the keyboard, USB, COM1, VGA and audio ports.

4Install the I/O panel onto the replacement motherboard. (Shown in step 2 on previous page.)

5Install 6 hex studs onto the motherboard ports and tighten.
