Chapter 6: Replacing Assemblies

1680A,AD-series disassembly/assembly

5Reverse this procedure to install the inverter board.

To remove the fans

1Do the procedure "To remove the chassis from the sleeve".

2Disconnect the fan cables from the distribution board.

3Using needle-nosed pliers, remove the plastic push fastener insert from the push fasteners securing one of the fans to the chassis.

4Disengage the fan from the push fasteners and remove the fan through the bottom of the chassis.

5If necessary, repeat steps 2 through 4 for the remaining fan.

6Reverse this procedure to install the fans.
