Meter

The Meter function displays measurements graphically. The Meter format is available for most measurements. To determine if the Meter format is provided for a measurement, position the cursor in front of the measurement’s units field and press the knob. If the message “Press ON/OFF, LIMITs, REF, AVG, METER, or units” is displayed, the meter format is provided.

Programming Meter

The GPIB command :METer is used to select this data function programmatically.

To Turn the Meter ON and OFF.

Use the :METer:STATe commands to turn the meter ON and OFF. The parameter can be a 1 or ON to turn the meter on and a 0 or OFF to turn the meter off.

Syntax

:METer:STATe <ON> or <1> :METer:STATe <OFF> or <0>

Example

OUTPUT 714;"MEAS:RFR:POW:MET ON"

This turns the analog bar-graph meter ON for the TX power measurement.
