sntp-client poll-interval

ThiscommandconfigurestheintervaltheSNTPclientwaits,whensynchronized,beforesending
anothertimerequesttoanSNTPserver.Thepollintervalisappliedcontinuouslyaftertheclientis
firstsynchronized.Ifbothprimaryandalternateserversareconfigured,pollsaresentonlytothe
firstserver,oncethis��wasdetectedtobeactiveandonlyifthisserverbecomesinactivewillthe
clientstartpollingthealternateserver.Aclientdeclaresaserverinactiveifnoresponseisreceived
totenconsecutiverequests.
Whenthetimeisnotsynchronizedafterbootup,aresynchronizationintervalisusedtosendtime
requeststotheserveratfixedintervalsof60seconds.Amaximumof10suchrequestsaresentin
casenoanswerwasreceivedbeforetheSNTPclientdecidesthisserverisdown.Ifanalternate
serveraddressisconfigured,requestsaresentouttoit.Theresyncintervalisusedinsteadofthe
pollingintervaltoensurethetimeislearnedfairlyquicklyifthepollintervalwassettoahigher
value.Afterinitialsynchronization,clientrequestsaresentusingtheconfiguredpollinterval.
