12.3.5 Concluding steps

ÊReconnect all cables to the system board. For a complete cabling overview, please refer to section "Cabling" on page 235.

ÊReinstall all remaining system board components as shown in the related sections:

Memory modules: refer to section "Installing a memory module" on page 182

IInstall all memory modules into their original slots.

Expansion cards: refer to section "Installing expansion cards" on page 161

IInstall all expansion cards into their original slots.

TPM board (if applicable): refer to section "Installing the TPM board" on page 204

ÊFollow all procedures described in section "Closing the server" on page 54.

ÊReconnect all external cables.

ÊIf applicable, activate TPM functionality in the system BIOS under Advanced > Trusted Computing. For more information, refer to the "Description - BIOS Manual D3090 / D3091".

ÊIf available, update the system board BIOS to the latest version as described in section "Updating the system board BIOS" on page 62.

ÊInform the customer about changed MAC addresses. For further information, refer to section "Looking up changed MAC addresses" on page 67.

ÊIf BitLocker functionality is used and has been disabled before starting the maintenance task, re-enable BitLocker as described in section "Enabling BitLocker functionality" on page 66.

ÊEnter the required system information using the ChassisId_Prom Tool as described in section "Using the Chassis ID Prom Tool" on page 68.
