8.Set the area.

a.On the front panel or remote control, press the up/down arrow buttons to highlight the SET button, and then press ENTER. Using the mouse, click the Set button. The pixel window is available and the selected camera’s video view is displayed.

b.Do one of the following:

•On the front panel or remote control, press any of the arrow buttons to move to a pixel in the search, and then press ENTER. Repeat this process until you have defined the search area.

•Using the mouse, left-click and drag the selection box to define the search area. The pixels in the selected area change color.

9.Exit the pixel window and start the pixel search operation.

•On the front panel or remote control.

(1)Press MENU/ESC. The Set button is highlighted.

(2)Press the up/down arrow buttons to highlight the Pixel Search button, and press ENTER.

•Using the mouse, click the Pixel Search button.

The system searches for recorded video the matches the search area defined by the selected pixels. The search results are displayed.

10.To view the pixel search video, on the front panel or remote control, press the up/down arrow buttons to highlight a row.

•On the front panel press Play .

•On the remote control press Play .

•Using the mouse, click a row, and then click Play.

The playback video is displayed in the PIP pane.
