5.Start the formatting process.

a. On the front panel or remote control, press the up/down arrow buttons to highlight Erase Media.

b.On the front panel or remote control, press ENTER. Using the mouse, click Erase Media. The “Would you like to erase a media?” dialog box opens.

c.On the front panel or on the remote control press the left/right arrow buttons to highlight OK, and then press ENTER. Using the mouse, click OK. The “Media formatting is in progress” dialog box is displayed.

After the media is formatted, the system displays the “Formatting completed.” dialog box.

d.On the front panel or remote control, press ENTER. Using the mouse, click OK.
