Central Controllers and Expansion Units Power Supply Units

Brief Instructions	The following table shows the procedure for placing the power supply unit
for Startup	(PSU) in operation without changing the jumper setting:

Description

Fit the PLC, allowing for clearances for access in the event of repairs and for adequate ventilation. Observe chassis grounding.

Fit the lithium battery (if available) in the battery compartment on the right front of the power supply unit (ensure correct polarity).

Remove the right-hand fan subassembly, plug in the red positive lead of its rechargeable battery and reinsert the fan.

Check that the voltage selector switch is set to your desired voltage.

Connect the 24 V load voltage leads to the ªVoltage Monitorº terminals.

When connecting the AC leads, fit an isolating device to isolate the power supply unit from the AC line voltage.

Connect the primary voltage leads and the protective conductor.

Switch on the primary voltage and the 24 V load voltage.

Use the ªPowerº switch to switch on the power supply unit.

If the required basic load is in circuit, no red LED lights up and the power supply unit is operational.
