PPPoE Commands

pppoe service-name

This command sets the service name for the PPPoE tunnel.

Syntax

pppoe service-name <string>

string - Service name assigned by the service provider. (Range: 1-63 alphanumeric characters)

Default Setting

None

Command Mode

Command Usage

The service name is normally optional, but may be required by some service providers.

Example

AP#(if-ethernet)#pppoe service-name classA

AP#

pppoe restart

This command restarts the PPPoE connection with updated parameters.
