3.7System Test
To execute the System Test, select 1 from the DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU, press Enter and follow the directions on the screen. Move the highlight bar to the subtest you want to execute and press Enter.
Subtest 01 ROM checksum
| This subtest executes a checksum test of the BIOS ROM (range: F0000h to |
| FFFFFh, 64KB) on the System Board. |
Subtest 02 | Fan ON/OFF |
| This subtest turns on/off the fan motor by force with Fan ON/OFF commands. |
| The following message will appear. |
| Fan number select (1;FAN#1, 2;FAN#2, 0;FAN#1)? |
| To check the CPU fan, press 1 and Enter. |
| To check the VGA fan, press 2 and Enter. |
| To check both CPU fan and VGA fan, press 0 and Enter. |
| The following message will appear. |
| *** Test Fan Revolution 0000RPM start |
| Make sure the specified fan does not rotate and the message of fan revolution |
| for it is “0000Rpm”. Then press Enter. |
| The following message will appear. |
| *** Test Fan Revolution Low speed Start |
| Make sure the fan rotates at low speed and the message of fan revolution for it |
| changes. Then press Enter. |
| The following message will appear. |
| *** Test Fan Revolution High speed Start |
| Make sure the fan rotates at high speed and the message of fan revolution for |
| it changes. Then press Enter. |
| After a while, the fan rotating will stop. |
NOTE: FAN#2(GPU) is not supported in this model.
