If you do not specify a start and end time, MSS implements the time change starting at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in April and ending at 2:00 a.m. on the last Sunday in October, according to the North American standard.

To set the summertime period to PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) and use the default start and end dates and times, type the following command:
