Traffic Status
Step5 Choose a QoS policy from the Inbound drop-down list to associate with inbound
traffic on the interface.
Step6 Choose a QoS policy from the Outbound drop-down list to associate with
outbound traffic on the interface.
Application/Protocol Traffic
This window allows you to monitor application and protocol traffic using
Network-based application recognition (NBAR), a protocol and application
discovery feature. NBAR is used to classify packets for more efficient handling of
network traffic through a specific interface.
Note If the router Cisco IOS image does not support NBAR, this status window will not
be available.

Enable NBAR

To display the status of NBAR for a specific interface, NBAR must first be
enabled on that interface. To enable NBAR, follow these steps:
Step1 Go to Interfaces and Connections > Edit Interface/Connection.
Step2 Choose the interface for which you want to enable NBAR from the Interface List.
Step3 Click the Edit button.
Step4 Click the Application Service tab.
Step5 Check the NBAR checkbox.

NBAR Status

The NBAR status table displays the following statistics for the interface you
choose from the Select an Interface drop-down list:
