tunneling The process of piping the stream of one protocol through another protocol.
TVR Target Value Rating. The TVR is a user-defined value that represents the user's
perceived value of the target host. This allows the user to increase the risk of an
event associated with a critical system and to de-emphasize the risk of an event
on a low-value target.

UDP User Datagram Protocol. Connectionless transport layer protocol in the TCP/IP
protocol that belongs to the Internet protocol family.
unencrypted Not encrypted.
Unity Client A client of a Unity Easy VPN Server.
URI Uniform Resource Identifier. Type of formatted identifier that encapsulates the
name of an Internet object, and labels it with an identification of the name space,
thus producing a member of the universal set of names in registered name spaces
and of addresses referring to registered protocols or name spaces. [RFC 1630]
URL Universal Resource Locator. A standardized addressing scheme for accessing
hypertext documents and other services using a browser. Two examples follow:

verification Identity confirmation of a person or process.
VCI virtual channel identifier. A virtual path may carry multiple virtual channels
corresponding to individual connections. The VCI identifies the channel being
used. The combination of VPI and VCI identifies an ATM connection.
