Maintaining the Cisco 12008

After your Cisco12008 has been operational for a period of time, you might need to

perform specific maintenance tasks, replace certain field replaceable units (FRUs), upgrade

memory components, or perform other tasks to ensure that the router continues to operate

properly and reliably.

Step6 Once all of the line card interface cables are removed, loosen the captive installation screws at the top and bottom of the cable-management bracket (see Figure7-27). 7-76 Step7 Remove the cable-management bracket from the line card. This completes the removal procedure for the Cisco 12008 cable-management bracket.
