Syntax Description
Command Defaults
If no parameters are specified, all MAC addresses for the device will be displayed.
Command Mode
Read-Only.
Example
This example shows how to display MAC address information:
address mac
address (Optional) Displays information for a specific MAC
address (if it is known by the device).
fid vlan_id (Optional) Displays MAC addresses for a specific filter
database identifier.
port port-string (Optional) Displays MAC addresses related to a specific
port(s). For a detailed description of possible port-string
values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
type (Optional) Displays information related to specific address
type. Valid types are:
learned - Shows the network MAC addresses learned
by the device.
self - Shows the device’s own MAC address.
mgmt - Shows MAC addresses connected to the
management (host) ports.
