This example shows how to display status information for Fast Ethernet front panel ports 15
through 18:

Table 4-2 show port status Output Details
Output What It Displays...
Port Port designation. For a detailed description of possible
port-string values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
Oper Status Whether the specified port has a valid link. Oper status will
be down until a link is established to an external device and
the port is enabled.
Admin Status Whether the specified port is enabled (up) or disabled
(down). For details on using the set port disable command
to change the default port status of enabled, refer to
Section 4.3.2.1. For details on using the set port enable
command to re-enable ports, refer to Section 4.3.2.2.
Duplex Duplex mode (half or full) of the specified port. For details
on using the set port duplex command to change defaults,
refer to Section 4.3.3.4.
Speed Operational speed in Mbps (10, 100 or 1000) of the specified
port. For details on using the set port speed command to
change defaults, refer to Section 4.3.3.2.
