Example
This example shows how to enable both TCP and UDP convergence end points detection for CEP
detection group 1:
11.2.6.9 set cep detection porthigh
Use this command to set the maximum and minimum ports used for TCP or UDP convergence end
points detection. Once UDP and/or TCP phone detection has been specified using the set cep
detection protocol command as described in Section 11.2.6.8, the protocols will use this port range
for detection matching.
set cep detection detection-id {porthigh | portlow port}
detection-id Specifies a CEP discovery group ID. This group must be
created and enabled using the set cep detection command
as described in Section 11.2.6.5. Valid values are 1 -
2147483647.
tcp | udp | both |
none Sets the CEP IP protocol type as:
TCP
UDP
Both UDP and TCP
None
Matrix>set cep detection 1 protocol both
NOTE: This command applies only to Siemens and H.323 phone detection. Cisco
detection uses CiscoDP as its discovery method.
