8.3.3 Assigning Ports to Policy ProfilesPurpose
To assign and unassign ports to policy profiles, and to display policy information about one or more
ports.
Commands
The commands used to assign ports to policy profiles are listed below and described in the
associated section as shown.
•show policy port (Section 8.3.3.1)
•set policy port (Section 8.3.3.2)
•clear policy port (Section 8.3.3.3)
8.3.3.1 show policy port
Use this command to display policy information for one or more ports.
show policy port [port-string]
Syntax Description
Command Defaults
If port-string is not specified, policy information will be displayed for all ports.
Command Type
Switch command.
Command Mode
Read-Only.
port-string (Optional) Displays policy classification information for a
specific port. For a detailed description of possible
port-string values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
