nExtracting a Point

Extract a point from the selected points as explained below.

Operating Procedure The following steps must be carried out in Build – Move – To X-Y-Zmode.

1 Select the desired points.

2 Click the right mouse button.

The [Select Point Type] dialog box will appear.

3 Select the desired point type from the pull-down menu.

4 Click the [OK] button.

The [Input XYZ Value] dialog box will appear.

5 Enter the design values for the point.

Memo

For certain types of extraction, you will only be able to enter values for two of three axes. For instance, if XY- Plane is selected, the text box for Z value will be inactive since it is not necessary to enter the Z-coordinate value.

6 Click the [OK] button.

The generated point will be displayed, and the [Confirmation] dialog box will appear.
