6.2Bennett EP-30 (NMEA1) Trim Tabs Configuration

This describes the configuration of the Bennett EP-30 trim tabs firmware version 1.0.7 (“NMEA1” NMEA 2000 Trim Tab Indicator Kit). The EP-30 configuration menu is shown below in Figure 39 below, and currently has the single entry “Trim Tabs Calibration…”.

6.2.1 Trim Tabs Calibration

The Bennett EP-30 (NMEA1) trim tabs calibration opening screen is shown in Figure 40 below. The first step in calibration is to move both trim tabs to the full up position, and then press the Accept ( ) key to begin the calibration process. You may also elect to abort the calibration process at this time by pressing the Abort ( ) key.
