11.1.1 Manager Features

Description

An extension assigned as a manager (manager extension) is allowed to use certain features which most extensions cannot. Class of Service (COS) programming determines which extensions are manager extensions and can therefore use the following features:

Manager	Manager		Changes the manager password.

	Verification		Sets a Verification Code PIN for each
	Code Personal		Verification Code.
	Identification
	Number (PIN)

	Remote PIN		Clears the extension PIN of an
	Clear		extension remotely, or a verification
			code PIN. PIN Lock is also unlocked.

	Remote		Sets or cancels the Extension Dial
	Extension Dial Lock on an extension remotely.
	Lock

Dial Tone Transfer			Changes the Toll Restriction (TRS)
			level of an extension temporarily,
			allowing the extension user to make a
			normally unauthorized call.

Outgoing Message (OGM)			Records and plays back OGMs.


Time Service			Switches the time mode manually.


BGM—External			Turns the External BGM on and off.


NDSS Monitor Release			Removes the monitor function from
			an NDSS button.
