2.6.2 Audio Controls

This section deals with the adjustment of volume and system gain controls. All the controls on this page update the unit in real time. This allows you to adjust levels during a conversation without having to first save the configuration to the unit.

Line Controls

If you need to adjust the volume of conversations through the system, you can adjust each line individually. The default settings compensate for loss created by TalkSwitch and a portion of the loss created by your lines. We recommend that you adjust the level for each line separately, as the characteristics of each line may vary. These controls only affect the volume heard by the caller.

Extension Controls

These controls allow you to increase or decrease the volume level of calls and system prompts heard at each extension.
