CO LINE TEST

1	Enter the Test Mode			>MODE TEST
	At the >MODE prompt, enter T E S T CR.
2	To Verify Station/CO Line Status			T SEKT XX IDLE ON-HOOK
	Station line status, enter S E K T X X (X X = station port).			T
	CO line status, enter S C O Y Y (Y Y = CO line number).			T SCO YY IDLE
3	Call Remote Station B (from SEKT XX and CO line YY)			T TK XX KYY
	Enter T K X X K Y Y		CR.	T
	(	= station B’s telephone number)
	Answer station B.
	NOTE:
	If the system is equipped with Music-on-hold, go to step 4. If the
	line must be tested via a CO-to-CO connection, go to step 6.
4	A)	Press the Hold button on TK XX (station B on hold).		T TKXX H
		Enter T K X X H CR.		T
	B)	Listen at station B and check that the transmission from the
		music source is acceptable.
	C)	Press the Spkr button on TKXX (to release the call).		T TKXX S
		Enter T K X X S CR.		T
5	Continue returning to step 2 until all CO lines are tested.
6	To Set Up A CO-to-CO Connection			T TKXX C
	Press the Cnf/Trn button on T K X X.			T
	Enter T K X X C CR.
	NOTES:
	1. Station B is connected via step 3.
	2. Verify that Program 15-5allows CO-to-CO connections.
	3. The next step must be completed immediately to avoid
		dial tone timeout.
7	Call station C (or local time/weather) via CO line C.			T TKXX KYY
	Enter: T K X X K Y Y		CR.	T
	X X = CO line C’s button number and		= telephone number of
	station C.
	Answer station C (or verify time/weather connection) and go to
	next step.
8	Press the Cnf/Trn button on STXX to establish a conference			T TKXX C
	between all parties.			T
9	If you wish to tie the two CO lines together and hang up:			T TKXX C
	Enter T K X X C CR.			TTKXX S
	Enter T K X X S CR.			T
10	Continue returning to step 2 until all CO lines are tested.
11	To Exit the Test Mode,
	At the T prompt, enter Q U I T CR.
