The syntax for this command is:
set port spantree {enabledisable} [module/port]
enabledisable | Enables or disables the spanning tree mode for the |
| specified ports. |
module/port | The module/port number. |
Example:
Enable the spanning tree mode for port 2 on module 3.
Set port spantree priority Command
Use the set port spantree priority command to set the priority level of a port. This value defines the priority of a port to be blocked in case two ports with the same costs cause a loop.
The syntax for this command is:
set port spantree priority [module/port] [value]
module/port | The module number/the port number. |
value | Number representing the priority of the port. The priority |
| level is from 0 to 255, with 0 indicating high priority and |
| 255 indicating low priority. |
Set port spantree cost Command
Use the set port spantree cost command to set the cost of a port. This value defines which port will be allowed to forward traffic if two ports with different costs cause a loop.
The syntax for this command is:
set port spantree cost [module/port] [value]
module/port | The module number/the port number. |
value | Number representing the cost. |
