ip admin-state Command

Use the ip admin-statecommand to set the administrative state of an IP interface. The default state is up.

The syntax for this command is:

ip admin-state <up/down>

up/down

Administrative state of the interface. The choices are

 

up (active) or down (inactive).

ip netbios-rebroadcast Command

Use the ip netbios-rebroadcastcommand to set NETBIOS rebroadcasts mode on an interface. The no form of this command disables NETBIOS rebroadcasts on an interface.

The syntax for this command is:

[no] ip netbios-rebroadcast <mode>

The possible values of mode are:

both

Netbios packets received on the interface

 

rebrodcasted to other interfaces and netbios packets

 

received on other interfaces are rebroadcasted into

 

this interface.

disable

Netbios packets are not rebroadcasted into or out of

 

this interface.

Example:

To enable rebroadcasting of netbios packets received by and sent from the interface “marketing”:

Router-N(config-if:marketing)# ip netbios-rebroadcast both

ip directed-broadcast Command

Use the ip directed-broadcastcommand to enable net-directed broadcast forwarding. The no form of this command disables net-directed broadcasts on an interface.

The syntax for this command is:

[no] ip directed-broadcast
