6Lift the back of the Tablet-PC up and slide the Tablet-PC out towards the back of the media base.

Installing the Optical Drive in the Media Base

1Save and close any open files or programs, and turn off the Tablet-PC (see "Turning Off Your Tablet-PC" on page 155).

2Insert the optical drive into the media bay on the media base (see "Left View" on page 203).

3Insert the securing screw that holds the optical drive in place.

4Turn on the Tablet-PC.

The operating system recognizes the new drive.
