10.Windows 2000 will now issue a warning that the driver has not been digitally signed by Microsoft. In the Digital Signature Not Found window click Yes to confirm that you want to install the driver selected.
Note: IBM is not responsible for the software since it is supplied by a third party company, although we strongly recommend to use this software.
Furthermore cFos Software Bonn is updating its software very often and they have decided that having a digital signature for cFos would be an advantage, unfortunately the process of signing the drivers is too expensive and too time consuming (due to the frequency of updates).
Complete the driver installation by clicking Finish.
11.Back in the Phone And Modem Options window, click Close if you have chosen all modem emulations you want to use. Otherwise, repeat the relevant sections of steps 8 through 10 again and click Close when you are done.
When your computer has restarted you are ready to use cFos together with the IBM International ISDN PC Card.
Installing cFos in Windows XP
Throughout this chapter it is assumed that you are logged on to a Windows XP Home Edition or Professional system as a local Administrator. If you are not logged on as a local Administrator, you may not be able to perform all the steps outlined in this chapter.
