NEXT-FUNCTION MEMORY

The Next Function Memory "tells" the recorder what to do immediately after rewinding. Before continuing, be sure that the recorder's tape is stopped.

(a)For Automatic Start of Playback after Tape Rewind...

press the Rewind button, then press the Play button within 2 seconds.

(b)For Automatic Power Off after Tape Rewind...

press the Rewind button, then press the Power button within 2 seconds.

(c)For Automatic Eject after Tape Rewind...

press the Rewind button, then press the Eject button within 2 seconds.

♦This function is not available from the remote control.

♦If you want the "next function" to automatically start when the counter reads "00:00:00" (instead of at the beginning of the tape), turn on the Counter Memory function (see Counter Memory on page 5–14).
