THE SATELLITE ANTENNA
The satellite antenna collects the signals transmitted from the satellites. A coaxial cable (or cables) carries these signals to the receiver (or receivers), where they are decoded and processed so you can view television programming. In this Guide, "satellite antenna" means the "dish," as well as the "dish" mounting hardware, including the "mast assembly," the "support arm," and the "LNBF."
