Information
Information messages do not require action; they record significant
Warning
Warning messages do not require immediate action; they indicate possible problems, such as when the recommended maximum ambient temperature is exceeded.
Error Error messages might require action; they indicate system errors, such as when a fan is not detected.
Each message contains date and time information, and it indicates the source of the message (POST or the IMM).
Integrated management module error messages
The following table describes the IMM error messages and suggested actions to correct the detected problems. For more information about IMM, see the IMM User’s Guide on the Web.
vFollow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column until the problem is solved.
vSee Chapter 8, “Parts Listing, TD200x Machine Types 3719, 3821, 3822, and 3823,” on page 237 to determine which components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable units (FRU).
vIf an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must be performed only by a trained service technician.
