Parameters and	Description
variables
port <portlist>	Specifies the port numbers to configure for flow
	control.

ATTENTION

If you omit this parameter, the system uses the port number you specified in the interface command.

asymmetric	Sets the mode for flow control:
symmetric	• asymmetric—enables the local port to perform flow
autodisable
	control on the remote port
	• symmetric—enables the local port to perform flow
	control
	• auto—sets the port to automatically determine the
	flow control mode (default)
	• disable—disables flow control on the port

no flowcontrol command

The no flowcontrol command is used only on Gigabit Ethernet ports and disables flow control. The syntax for the no flowcontrol command is:

no flowcontrol [port <portlist>]

The no flowcontrol command is executed in the Interface Configuration command mode.
