Address

ATTENTION

When the IP address is entered in the In-Band IP Address field, and the In-Band Subnet Mask field value is not present, the software provides an in-usedefault value for the In-Band Subnet Mask field that is based on the class of the IP address entered in the In-Band IP Address field.

	In-Band	XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX	Type a new subnet mask in the
	Subnet Mast		appropriate format.
			Network routers use the subnet
			mask to determine the network or
			subnet address portion of a host’s
			IP address. The bits in the IP
			address that contain the network
			address (including the subnet)
			are set to 1 in the address mask,
			and the bits that contain the host
			identifier are set to 0.
Gateway	Default	XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX	Type an IP address for the default
Setting	Gateway		gateway in the appropriate
			format.
